The West has finished off Ukraine

Monday, September 15, 2025, there was a meeting in Kyiv called the "Yalta European Strategy," "Yalta" being used, apparently to sound historical. The present conference was titled "How to end the war," with a subsection "Reform and fighting against corruption" (and corruption in the Banderite Ukrainian government is old hat). First day summary here. This was attended by many people, including the Actor Zelenskyy in the unofficial position of Ukranian President, Defence Mnister Denys Shmyhal, Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha, Finnish President Alexander Stubb, presidential advisor retired General Keith Kellogg and at least three Canadians: Andrew Furey, the 14th Premier of Newfoundland, former Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chrétien, and Canadian Transport Minister Christia Freeland, just about to be appointed as a special representative for the rebuilding of Ukraine! This representation, along with current Prime Minister Mark Carney teaming up with Zelenskyy on a discussion on the "kidnapping" of Ukrainian children during the "Special Military Operation," might point to Canada setting itself up as a stated enemy of Russia. Might some or all of these children be the rescued orphans from the bombing and shelling of the Donbas by the Banderite Ukrainian government for years after 2014?

The Globe and Mail printed a column by Andrew Furey in the September 16th edition, page A11, "This moment is not just about Ukraine. It's about defending the democratic world."

Andrey Furey cites a long stream of "The West's" usual talking points. "Principles that underpin the western world." "Rules-based international order, built from the ashes of the Second World War." "Unchecked imperial expansion." "A world where aggression is contained." "Respect for sovereignty, democracy." "System of alliances that has kept war at bay in Europe for several generations." "We must act now to preserve the freedom we take for granted."

Let's take a different look at these issues. The "principles that underpin the western world" are actually the REAL "unchecked imperial expansion" which has even before WW-II imagined Russia and China as strategic "threats" needing to be "contained," thus Russia is surrounded by U.S. assets up against their borders from the Arctic to China's border. Ukraine has been used in a proxy war against Russia following exactly Brzezinski's plan. Instead of supporting democracy, the "rules-based order" undertook a regime change to remove the elected Ukrainian president Poroshenko because he respected the rights of the Russian-speaking population in his eastern oblasts (even their church had been outlawed), resulting in the Maidan massacre after which Victoria Nuland passed out cookies! We had fifty years of peace due not entirely to "Mutually-Assured Destruction" but mainly due to the difficult work done by Andrei Gromyko keeping Stain from blowing a fuse. Yes, power in this world is being redistributed and it's moving to BRICS+ and attempting to isolate the failing Empire represented by the former USA. BRICS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization endeavor to provide adherence to sovereign equality, abiding by international rule of law, practicing true multilateralism, advocating the people-centered approach and focusing on taking real actions, instead of the militaristic approach of USA, for instance trying to control Africa with AFRICOM while China finances development with the Belt & Road program. Canada was supposed to be doing "Elbows Up" and decoupling from the Trump regime, but ends up engaging in a firmer pro-NATO stance while the U.S. disengages? Why does Canada keep siding with war?

You may have seen videos of Gen. Keith Kellogg's speeches in Ukraine where he said Russia is losing the SMO, has had massive losses and obviously is failing since they haven't made the huge advances. Russia has almost completed their work, their losses are much less than Ukraine's, and correct, they have not done a "Shock and Awe" campaign - yes, they could have taken out all the bridges over the Dnieper but they do NOT want to destroy everything (like the Americans do). They want Ukraine as a truly neutral nation. Remember, this could have been settled in the first weeks by the Istanbul accords, or anytime in the past year by accepting Russia's peace proposal, but every time, "The West" rejects that because, like Gen. Kellogg was saying, they still want to weaken Russia. Thus, "The West" owes Ukraine massive reparation for using the country in a proxy war against Russia.

My big post is almost done, which describes how the economy can operate WITHOUT debt! This shatters everything you ever knew about money. Stay tuned! But I decided to kick this little current-events item out the door first, then get back to the money article.
