What happened at Bürgenstock - the predatory hegemon is out, the settler-colony is out.
The conference regarding the "MOU" at Bürgenstock almost failed three times when the Iranian members almost walked out. But Prince Fisal, the Saudi Arabian foreign minister, phoned directly to the Iranians and the Pakistani mediators, that this conference MUST BE successful - "it must not fail" - exact words.
Security at the conference was secured by Pakistani deep intel services plus 2000 Swiss Army personnel and a 46 km no-fly zone around it, otherwise the Iranians would not attend. The entire security architecture in West Asia has been rearranged by the Saudi-Pakistani security agreements. This arrangement provides security for the entire Gulf region including the Emirates and Saudi Arabia itself, where presently 8,000 Pakistani troops are already deployed in King Abdulaziz air base with JF17 squadrons and the authorization to bring up to 80,000 troops. Saudi Arabia has abandoned connection and subservience to the predatory hegemon. From Pakistan, Sharif and Munir will fly to Riyad later this week, Thursday or Friday, for more serious talks. This brings the entire region under Pakistan's nuclear umbrella, with subtle backing by China. The Saudis have guaranteed backup for the US$12B transfer to Iran.
My comments: So the MOU has proceeded, this representing a strategic surrender by the predatory hegemon. But will this snake-in-the-grass, America, lie quietly by while this process carries on? Remember, this Bessent is the ghoul who in past lives shorted the Bank of England and then the Bank of Japan for billions, then carried out his "economic statecraft" to enable the initial public uprising in Iran which allowed the MOSSAD-CIA insertion of the armed rabble to carry out random destruction and carnage. What possible tricks could be deployed to disrupt the MOU and again damage Iran? Try this one: after the plane loads, yes plane loads of cash arrive in Tehran, since U.S. paper currency is no longer silver or gold certificates, they could simply collapse the old currency and begin a new issue, either below, at, or above par - locals can take their old dollars to their bank to exchange for the new currency. Foreigners are screwed. Iran had best put that cash right back on another plane to Shanghai Currency Exchange and change it for gold, immediately, or all they have is rather small fish wrap. As well, the U.S. may not be able to keep their dog (isra3l) on a leash, since that dog has "nuclear" toys - the Kompromat which could wipe out the entire US admin, or the bomb-type which could wipe out Tehran.
In any case, if the MOU and succeeding talks carry on, given the new security architecture of West Asia, the U.S. petrodollar is dead, which includes the entire U.S. economy. The Gulf States will sell oil, gas, etc., in whatever currency they wish, instead of being required to money-launder it back though the U.S. economy. That is the end of America extravagant consumption, extravagant military imperialism and the end to that Hegemon being in everyone's face. The future is not new paint on the past, that's passed, it has moved on.
